Trinity GAP Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that supports the Euless Animal Shelter in Euless, TX. TGR provides dogs entering the shelter with vaccinations, microchips, spay/neuter surgeries, + other medical costs. Their foster and adoption program has significantly lowered the euthanasia rate at this shelter.
Full Website Makeover & Re-design
The task of revamping and updating a website that had not been touched in 12 years seemed daunting at first. However, with my knowledge of web design and deep empathy for dogs and animal welfare, I knew I could successfully tackle this job.
I evaluated the existing website and organized a list of elements to remove, keep, and add. I restructured the layout, built a new brand kit, refreshed the content, and replaced outdated images with high-quality photographs of current dogs.
With a focused approach to achieving a modern and invigorating feel, I skillfully designed the website using an entirely new color palette, carefully selecting colors to optimize viewers' trust and encourage meaningful interactions. I strategically incorporated embedded links to enhance search engine optimization (SEO) and created an attention-grabbing emergency page to showcase at-risk dogs needing immediate attention.
I customized the site to feature conveniently accessible fillable PDF forms, multiple donation options, user-friendly drop-down menus, and other intuitive features. The only section left untouched was the Our Pets page due to code-related issues.
